Windows 2000 users, please also refer to the following. ------------------------------------------------------------------- File Description/Installation Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------- README.TXT Overall installation notes for all users Follow these steps to install the DFE-650 Fast Ethernet PC Card's driver: 1. Start your PC, then insert the DFE-650 Fast Ethernet PC Card into an available PC Card slot in your PC . 2. After starting Windows 2000, the DFE-650 Fast Ethernet PC Card will be detected automatically, then the Found New Hardware Wizard window appears. 3. Insert the DFE-650 Fast Ethernet PC Card Installation diskette into floppy disk drive. 4. Click the Next button in the Install Hardware Device Drivers window. Windows 2000 will start to search floppy drive A for network driver, and Windows displays the message "D-Link DFE-650TX/TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card" 5. Click Next button, then the Windows 2000 starts to copy the DFE-650 Fast Ethernet PC Card driver to the user's hard disk. 6. Click Finish button. 7. Restart your computer.
